THE ARROGANCE OF SILENCE!

It has now become the norm is South Africa's local, provincial and national government employees to ignore requests for explanations from the press and concerned groups.
This arrogance of silence, when something wrong was done, is the result of the example from the top down. If Zuma does not have to explain, why should we?
The government continually tries to promote transparency... but if transparent answers are asked you are coldly ignored. Because nothing will happen if you do not have the basic good manners and ethics to stand up and be counted as a man of dignity allowing all others dignity as well.
Our local government in Matzikama is also one of the "guilties"

  1. Taciturnity defies transparency. The knack to keep people around in good humor is
the key to rapid response of choice.
